Employee Spotlight: Gianna Guerra

Q. What’s your experience been like with our company culture?

My experience with the company culture at Laundrylux has been like no other—it’s truly like being part of a family. From day one, I’ve felt valued and appreciated, and I’ve consistently been surrounded by colleagues who are always willing to step in and help, even when it’s outside their role. The leadership team is incredibly supportive, making it easy to bring ideas or concerns to the table and know they’ll be met with encouragement and respect.

Q. How would you describe your team?

My team is made up of incredibly creative, collaborative individuals who are always striving to improve and innovate. Each person plays a unique role in supporting the sales team, and we all take pride in lifting one another up to ensure everyone succeeds. There’s a strong sense of teamwork, and we genuinely care about each other’s growth and accomplishments.

Q. What does a typical day in your role look like?

A typical day for me involves leading training sessions with new sales hires, helping them get acclimated with how to do business with Laundrylux and teaching them the ins and outs of our equipment. I also support our managers and sales representatives with whatever they may need—whether that’s answering questions, providing materials, or jumping in to solve a challenge. No two days are the same, and I love the mix of structure and flexibility my role provides.

Q. Who within the company inspires you the most?

Aubrey Pollesch is someone who inspires me deeply here at Laundrylux. From my very first day, she has been a mentor and role model—her dedication to her team and her work ethic are truly admirable. She brings years of valuable experience in the laundry industry, and she’s always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the task. Watching her lead with grace and purpose has motivated me to push myself and grow in my own role.

Q. What resources have you utilized during your time with us?

One of the resources I found most helpful was the Excel training course offered by the company. When I started, Excel wasn’t my strongest skill, but thanks to the training, I was able to quickly build confidence and apply what I learned to my daily tasks. It’s just one example of how Laundrylux invests in employee growth and development, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continually improve.

Q. How have you grown professionally since joining the team?

Since joining Laundrylux, I’ve experienced tremendous personal and professional growth. I’ve become much more confident when leading training calls, attending trade shows, and networking at company events. The Women’s Initiative Group has also been a big part of my journey—it’s a safe, empowering space where we can support one another, share ideas, and learn from amazing guest speakers who offer meaningful insights that help me grow both in and out of the workplace.

Q. What would your perfect vacation day look like?

My perfect vacation day would be somewhere warm and tropical—think clear blue waters, white sandy beaches, and tall palm trees swaying in the breeze. I’d spend the day soaking up the sun, relaxing without a care in the world, and sipping on a refreshing piña colada. Pure paradise!
