Q. What’s your experience been like with our company culture?
My experience at LaundryLux has been refreshing. Everyone is an expert at what they do and understands each other’s strengths, including their own. This allows me to focus on my expertise and better support my team.
Q. How would you describe your team?
My team is collaborative, open, and resourceful. I have a great team that is supportive and encouraging of one another. I feel very comfortable sharing new ideas with them. They are respectful of timelines and deliverables. I always say my team makes my work easier.
Q. What does a typical day in your role look like?
I am usually working on designing sales enablement assets, such as flyers, internal training documents, and mailers. Or attending meetings with different teams, including the Women’s Initiative, to talk about new internal challenges or other projects I support.
Q. Who within the company inspires you the most?
My department lead, Aubrey Pollesch. She is someone I look up to and aspire to be like as a leader. She is supportive and encouraging, always setting her team up for success. She is clear in her direction and realistic in her expectations.
Q. How have you grown professionally since joining the team?
I have grown in many ways. My role with the sales team has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone. Coming from a creative background, I have always been the most comfortable with creative work. Numbers and spreadsheets were not my forte; however, through my time at LaundryLux, I’ve learned formulas and become more familiar with using data. I am also more confident in the skills I bring, thanks to the supportive nature of our company culture.
Q. What is one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
A fun fact most don’t know about me is that I read and play music. I have studied classical piano since I was 8 years old. Music is a great passion of mine. It’s my favorite way to decompress and enjoy my free time.
