Employee Spotlight: Angela Amato

Q. How would you describe your team?

I work closely with several departments, so my ‘team’ is really a mix of people with different roles and expertise. It’s a collaborative group where everyone brings something unique, and we rely on each other to keep things running smoothly.

Q. What does a typical day in your role look like?

As a Sales Operations Specialist, my role is centered around supporting our sales team, especially as this position was created to help meet the needs of our growing team. On a day-to-day basis, I run demographic reports, assist in creating sales quotes, and help develop proposal books to support efforts in gaining new clients. Since this is a newly established role, my responsibilities continue to evolve, and I’m focused on staying flexible and adapting to the team’s needs. I’m always looking for ways to contribute where I’m needed most and add value to the sales process.

Q. What resources have you utilized during your time with us?

One of the most valuable resources I’ve utilized is the Sales Enablement Hub. The Sales Enablement team has done an excellent job building and continuously updating it, making it a reliable go-to for information. It brings everything together in one place—from price books to a wide range of training tools, including PowerPoints and videos. I find myself regularly going back to it as a reference, and it’s been incredibly helpful in supporting my day-to-day work and ongoing learning.

Q. What are your favorite benefits, and why?

One of my favorite benefits is the company’s focus on creating opportunities for employees to connect outside of the workplace. The organized events—like bowling outings, golf trips, and trips to Yankee games—are a great way to unwind and build stronger relationships with colleagues in a more relaxed setting. I also truly appreciate Laundrylux’s contribution to profit sharing, which reinforces how much the company values and invests in its employees.

Q. What do you find to be the most unique part of working here?

The most unique part of working here is the focus on internal growth. Seeing team members move up within the company is inspiring and reinforces that hard work and dedication are recognized.

Q. How have you grown professionally since joining the team?

Since joining the team, I’ve grown professionally by taking on multiple roles across the company, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of the business. I started as a Fulfillment Coordinator, moved into Order Entry, and now work as a Sales Operations Specialist. Each position has helped me build on the last—strengthening my attention to detail, deepening my product and process knowledge, and enhancing my ability to support our internal teams effectively.

Q. What is one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

I make the best Black & White Cookies. And yes, this is a fact. 😉
