Laundrylux is pleased to announce that Robert Chateau has been hired as Western Regional Business Manager for Coin sales. Rob’s territory includes Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Alberta and British Columbia in Canada. Robert’s first day with Laundrylux is Monday, February 6th.
“We have been working with Robert for a number of years and his sales skills, leadership abilities, and product knowledge are outstanding,” states Howard Herman, Laundrylux President. “Most recently, Robert worked for Electrolux Professional Laundry as a Technical Area Manager on the West Coast and has been an incredible asset to us and our distributors.”
Robert is based in San Diego, California and has 12 years of industry experience. He learned to repair commercial washers and dryers while in the Navy. In 2000, Robert joined long-time Laundrylux distributor Golden State Laundry Systems as service manager and worked his way up through the Sales department. For the past two years, Robert has been working for Electrolux Professional. He has traveled to the Electrolux factories in Sweden and France numerous times for extensive training.
“I saw a great opportunity with Laundrylux and am especially pleased that I will represent the Electrolux and Wascomat brands,” shares Robert Chateau. “I’m excited that I will be working with distributors I’ve already established relationships with. I’m familiar with their businesses and the markets and I know the equipment inside and out. I’m looking forward to using my skills to help these distributors grow and develop.”
