Q. What has your experience been with the company culture at Laundrylux?
It’s been a great experience working for Laundrylux. I love the company culture and working with an inclusive and supportive team, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration. The mix of experienced individuals and newcomers with fresh ideas enhances our culture and makes it a wonderful environment to work in.
Q. How would you describe your team?
I have a fantastic team. They’re super reliable, and I know I can trust my team to handle tasks without me having to intervene. We’re all cross-trained, so we support each other, making sure nobody is set up for failure.
Q. What are the day-to-day responsibilities of your role?
There’s never a dull moment, that’s for sure. I handle a wide range of responsibilities to keep our supply chain running smoothly. That includes forecasting and purchasing of all products, and building and maintaining relationships with our vendors. In addition, we oversee the import logistics and work with our colleagues to service customers and ensure a smooth operation. Every day brings new challenges and keeps things interesting.
Q. What have been your biggest accomplishments at Laundrylux?
I have to say navigating us through all the supply chain challenges in 2020 to 2022. It was a bumpy ride through those years, and we faced numerous supply chain challenges at every turn. But with my team, support from Laundrylux leadership, understanding from our customers, exceptional collaboration, and support from our dedicated vendors, we made it through with minimum impact.
Q. What is unique about working at Laundrylux?
The people! I love the amazing people I get to work with every day. Laundrylux is like a big family, and our team is made up of fun, supportive, and diverse groups of individuals who create an energizing and supportive environment. I enjoy working with this team.
Q. How have you grown professionally while at Laundrylux?
Working at Laundrylux has allowed me to grow professionally. I started as the Purchasing Manager and have advanced to the Director of Planning and Procurement. It’s been an incredible opportunity to learn more about the industry and challenge myself.
Q. Describe your perfect vacation day.
Any vacation where I get to explore a new city or country is a perfect vacation for me. I love immersing myself in the local culture, sitting down with locals, learning about their lives and traditions, and, of course, enjoying the food!
